THE UNIA 68th Convention BALTIMORE
The 68th International Convention of the Universal Negro Improvement Association(UNIA) is coming to Baltimore from August 19–23, 2026—bringing together members, leaders, and supporters from across the country and around the world.
This historic gathering continues the legacy of Marcus Garvey, focused on unity, self-reliance, and the advancement of Black people globally.
During the day, the convention will host official UNIA meetings, leadership sessions, and strategic discussions, focused on building structure, strengthening divisions, and advancing the organization’s mission.
In the evenings, the convention opens up to the wider community with public events, cultural gatherings, networking opportunities, and social experiences designed to bring Baltimore together in a spirit of unity and empowerment.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from Michael Duncan, the 11th President General and successor in the lineage of Marcus Garvey, offering direction, insight, and leadership for the future.
This is more than a convention—it’s a moment for Baltimore to connect, organize, and build.
